Hi - I'm Isabela.

I’m a UX researcher based in the UK with experience across multiple industries and international markets, including the UK, EU, US, and APAC. I’m passionate about understanding people and designing meaningful, human-centred experiences, especially within sports and outdoor contexts. Recently, my work has increasingly focused on the intersection of AI, data privacy, and responsible innovation, ensuring user safety and client trust remain at the core of every project.

What am I working on now?

Right now, I’m working on a project I feel genuinely passionate about.

I’m exploring the intersection between AI-driven devices and deeply human needs. What it means to design technology that supports people rather than overwhelms them.

My focus is on wearable AI: devices that live close to our bodies, collect personal data, and have the potential to shape how we move, train, recover, and experience everyday life.

I’m especially interested in how wearables shape behaviour in sports and outdoor environments, where technology becomes part of performance, motivation, and even identity.

At the same time, I’m currently researching how users experience trust and control when devices make AI-driven suggestions, and what it takes to ensure these experiences feel empowering rather than intrusive.

Alongside this, I’m deepening my understanding of responsible AI and data privacy, helping businesses innovate with confidence while protecting user trust, safety, and autonomy.

It’s an area that excites me, challenges me, and keeps me curious. All at the same time!

And if you’re working in this space too or just curious, I’d be very happy to connect, exchange ideas, and share experiences.

More about me

Being able to translate user needs, behaviours, and desires is my superpower. It’s what allows me to transform digital products and services into effortless, pleasant experiences that truly feel human.

Since I can remember, I’ve always had a strong taste for quality and a natural drive to solve problems for the people around me. Growing up, I didn’t know there was a name for it until I discovered the world of user experienceSuddenly, everything made sense.

I’m grateful to say that nature gifted me with skills that make me a strong UX researcher: empathy, curiosity, adaptability, problem-solving, and the ability to communicate with clarity and care.

Of course, that doesn’t mean the work is never challenging, especially in a world that moves so fast. But that’s also part of what I love most: learning to adapt, staying grounded, and landing on my feet no matter what changes come my way.

When AI entered the market, I’ll admit it scared me at first. But I chose curiosity over fear. Instead of seeing AI as something that could replace my role, I began to see it as a tool, one that can enhance my work, as long as I remain thoughtful, ethical, and in control of the research process.

Today, I embrace innovation while staying deeply aware of what matters most: people’s trust, privacy, and safety. I believe the smartest way forward is not to work harder, but to work wiser, combining human insight with responsible technology to create meaningful experiences.

How can I help your business?

Every business has unique needs, and that’s exactly where the work begins.

I believe the most valuable first step is simply getting in touch and having an honest conversation about what’s working… and, even more importantly, what isn’t. Because that’s where the real opportunities live.

Once we identify your primary needs, my role becomes clear: I help uncover the why behind user behaviours, expectations, and challenges. That “why” is what allows us to validate assumptions, reduce uncertainty, and make smarter decisions.

Sometimes that means testing a product with real users. Other times, it means validating an idea early, mapping the full journey, or simply listening closely to what people need before anything is built.

I support you and your team in investing with confidence in ideas that have been explored, tested, and understood. The result is not only better experiences for your users, but also saved time, clearer direction, and a budget spent wisely.
